Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book my stay?
You can request book directly on this site using the booking page which is the cheapest option. You will also find us on airbnb.
How do I confirm my booking request, what if I need to cancel?
For all stays we require 30% of the price of the stay at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to check in. After that date a refund is not possible. If you do need to cancel we will try to re book the period that was cancelled and if the dates are booked with another client we will refund the value we have let it for which may be lower than you paid.
How do I pay for my stay?
If booking directly through our site we accept payment by bank transfer.
Can I park at the property?
Yes, there is secure private gated access with a driveway for up to 4 small cars or 3 large cars you arrive at the front door! The road to the house is tarmac and the driveway is gravel so suitable for all vehicles.
Is the house completely independant?
The house is semi-detached and we live in the neighbouring house. The house is independant in that guests have private access, a private entrance and driveway, access to your own garden of @800m2, the pool is for your exclusive use in your garden, pets are secure in your garden by a 1.8m high fence, there are no shared parts or areas and the houses are separated by a fence. The heating is also completely autonomous to the house.
If I encounter a problem during my stay is someone available to help?
We live in Italy all year round and whilst we are present during our stay you will only notice us maintaining the gardens or cleaning the pool is required early moring. If you encounter any problems or are in need of assistance we are there to help. We can be contacted by WhatsApp, phone or e mail and we will respond as soon as we recieve your message. We would be delighted to make recommendations while you enjoy your stay for places to go, places to eat or something to do, or for any query. Alternatlively you can enjoy your stay in complete privacy it's up to you.
Can I bring my pet to Nº18?
At this point we are sorry to say no.
Is Nº18 a child friendly environment?
Families & children are very welcome at Nº18 in fact the house was made for families and groups of friends in mind and it is a safe environment. If you have any specific questions about the house or garden & pool area please contact us and we will be happy to answer. We have two high chairs and two cots. If you have any special requests do let us know on the Contact Us page.
Group bookings
If you are booking as a group please note the house is located in a very peaceful & tranquil part of Monferrato and we ask all guests to respect that from 11:00pm noise is kept to a minimum. Organised parties are not permitted.
All guests are required to complete a guest registration form and a short term rental contract. This is to register your stay with the italian statistics and tourism board and the local police. It is essential that all guests are registered on the first day of arrival and the maximum number of guests is 8. Anyone not registered as a guest is not permitted to stay on the property.
Is the house Covid 19 prepared?
The house is new for 2021 and so was "born" in the Covid era, we have incorporated Covid procedures & the house is cleaned and steamed to a very high standard, any information materials which can be digitised have been and two tablet PC's are provided for guest use.
